I don’t care how uncomfortable it makes Ernie or the Round Mound of Rebound, fighting with your team on the way into the locker room does not bode well for team cohesion or success.

I hope the media actually has the guts to ask Izzo about the halftime situation. To have that happen and blow a big lead right after? Don’t kiss his butt and chalk it up to “family”…challenge him.
You also have to wonder whether there will be staff changes for Izzo this off-season. He doesn’t make them often, but after this season and the player turnover that’s bound to happen you wonder.

I hope Duncan is involved in this. He seemed to be really passionate about this kind of thing and to have the right idea for what could have been effective. No final four shoot around to skip this year, so delay some games
There was an article in The Athletic about the movement and he basically said it would be too much to coordinate in an early round and made it sound like it could be in the later rounds.

Without looking at the PPP, it felt like a janky game offensively by both teams and I was shocked to see both offense having a good day based on PPP.
UCLA making 50% of its threes helps.

Just watching the incident before halftime here in the postgame and the look in Izzo’s eyes as he is crossing under the basket is just not normal. Dude is going to snap at some point.

Looks like they captured quite a bit more of that halftime unpleasantness further up the tunnel. Fascinating bc what it looks like is less Tom in abusive mode than as parent restraining fighting siblings. Lot going on there.
