Getting Nembhard was just unfair for the Zags. Makes that team so deep and tough. Not much you can do with them.
Does USC have the guard play though? They seem so reliant upon Mobley.
Lots of them.
18-19 Medical redshirt, back injury and had knee surgery
19-20 missed all year breaking his leg in practice in Oct of 2019
Nate Oats doing his Bear Bryant tribute with that awful suit today…
2 charges on Herb Jones drawn by Tyger Campbell 40 seconds into the game
Quinerly about to check in. Could be a huge little chunk here to the under-8
Campbell = Brad Davison. Already 3 charges taken
Man, what did Tyger Campbell ever do to do, to deserve that comparison?
Davison’s charge-to-flop ratio is about 1:4.
Takes like this are so dumb, yeah let’s just ignore blatant offensive fouls
I like UCLA, am I nuts?
Charges aren’t fun, but as a concept they’re necessary
Neither one really looked that close, actually. The second one, in particular, was either a charge or close enough that you can’t make that drive if you’ve got a foul already.
I’m rooting for them also. Give me the low seed that has been mediocre most of the year over the team that’s been good most of the year.
Quinerly is an NBA guy
Alabama is similar to FSU in that they go deep to their bench. But their roster is more guard & wing. They can pretty much do everything on the offensive side of the ball.
I have a dream that, one day, announcers will realize that whichever team misses the most shots typically gives up the most rebounds, and will switch to OREB/DREB percentages. A man can dream, can’t he?
You can hope. They’re starting to get better at this stuff. It’s extremely slow progress, but it’s happening. A couple years ago it would be total insanity to hear a tempo free stat, now it pops up every couple broadcasts.
Bruins fighting back!
If that’s how Alabama is going to guard smaller, quicker guards, Mike Smith is watching this game and licking his lips.
