Accidentally posted this in the wrong thread so here were go here. Interesting Sperber video on ORU’s run so far. A couple things I found interesting.
He goes over how this Sweet Sixteen game against Arkansas is actually a rematch, and that ORU lost by 10 against Arkansas earlier this year despite being up double digits in the second half.
He shows off the dribble jumper EFG% this year, where Abmas is #1 nationally, and potential MSU transfer guard Tyson Walker is #7.

Who ever bet the under is feeling pretty good now. What a grinder of a game. The offenses are making the defenses look very good.
Who are you guys rooting for in this one? I’m pulling for OSU because their fan base is somehow even more tortured than Loyola. And I like their coach.
Also, if Moser ends up at Indiana I need to prepare to be rooting against him lol.
I’m torn. In a vacuum, I’d rather root for a mid-major underdog type than a power 5 team (even if the power 5 team is technically a bigger underdog). On the other hand, OSU winning would really annoy Illinois fans. Also, if OSU wins, that’s more evidence than the PAC12 is actually good, presumably giving greater hope that UCLA pulls the upset over Bama. Coin flip, but I still pick Loyola – Chicago loyalty, I guess.
I’m rooting for Loyola to lose to us again. I want Illinois fans to ruminate how they should have beaten them so they could have beaten us again. I know sick.
