Yea and if that happens I wonât care at all about the B1G. Of course that is a MASSIVE IF. I donât even feel confident about tonightâs game let alone cutting down nets.

Speaking of commercials that get stuck in your head - the âwho got the sauceâ commercial got me yesterday. Caught myself singing it, only for my 9-year old to pick it up. It was a beautiful call and response.

You canât pull the âsingle elimination tournaments are not good formats for deciding winnersâ excuse when every team works all year for this very occasion. Preseason games =/= regular season games =/= postseason games.
Connor McCaffery Iâm not going to defend but for sure yes for Patrick. Heâs a 6â9 freshman who can handle the ball, is long, and has put up a 111 ORTG on 18% USG (and plays less than 40% of minutes). Like I get itâs a meme but Patrick has 8 points, 2 boards, 1 assist, 1 block and 0 TOs today. Connor, Bohannon and Fredrick combined have 0 points, 2 boards, 4 assists, and 3 TOs. And since Patrick has come back in Iowaâs on a 6-0 run. Why shouldnât he be on the floor?

Thereâs a difference between determining a tournament champion and determining the best team. A single-elimination tournament is a perfectly good way to crown a champion. Itâs useless for determining the best team.
If the B1G wasnât rated highly, we donât get a number 1 seed. Conference strength can matter.

I was just going for a Fran cheap shot. I will say that Patrick has been a good player in his role thus far. Will be interesting to see what itâs like next year as a featured guy.

Fran really need to hire a defensive assistant coach to coach defense because Iowa has zero interest in playing defense. Itâs bad, bad, bad.
