Here come the Loyola misses at the FT line
Great move on defense by Loyola doubling the ball with Krutwig, then switching smaller player on Kofi. Protects Krutwig from fouls and sends Kofi to line where hes not good

Its the reason I didn’t have them winning the whole thing. Didn’t think they could string together 6 solid games in a row. Don’t know that they have all year.

How many points will it take for Loyola to do this? I’d say 67
So much is on the refs here. Illinois plays so aggressive and that just gets turned up in this situation. They need to call legitimate fouls.
Illinois is trailing by 17% of their point total, and they have 10% of the clock remaining. If Loyola can score another two or three baskets, I don’t think Illinois can catch them.
I’ll never say another bad word about Sister Jean if they pull this off. It’ll be the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I’ll do it.
