Legitimately stunned how bad Illinois has been in this game. What a pathetic effort.
Remember those games Illinois was playing in February where they just couldnāt get it together against clearly inferior opponents (Nebraska, MSU, etc.) and it seemed as though they were somewhat disinterested in running sets, perform basic defensive principles, etc. and it looked as though they were trying to get by on superior athleticism? Welcome to another one of those games.

The fact that they never adjusted their defense and just gave Loyolaās guards a running start to the basket all game makes me think a lot less of Underwood as a coach
I will say this for him. He doesnāt always do the right thing, but whatever he does, he does it at full intensity.
