Rondo even learned how to shoot…maybe Simmons can.
There were criticism about his shooting in his entire career as a Sixers and he was part of a big reason why the Sixers lost in the playoff since 2018 yet he got worse in shooting. I’m not sure if he’ll ever care about working hard to get better offensively.
I still think about Cam Johnson sometimes.

And with 9 seconds left in a 1-point game that stupid “technically last touched by the dribbler rather than the swatting defender” review rule rears its ugly head.
Some basketball org has to have the guts to change that rule.

Incredible finish, basically, but this last .7 is ridiculous. As have been a number of other reviews.
He really was Michigan bound until the last minute change commit to Arkansas. Everyone thought Bev was heading to Michigan.

I have a rule proposal for video reviews. It should be 1-2 minutes and if it exceeds that time, the call on the field should stands. Any more than that, it’s an overkill.

It was when he was quoted as saying he chose Fayetteville because it reminded him of Chicago that I knew it was a real $EC style change of heart.
I’m hindsight though, I’m very happy to cheer against him.

30 seconds. Always been my position.
That was embarrassing for the NBA. Just a horribly officiated game down the stretch. Can’t blame PatBev for doing things he knew he could get away with, but how myopic do you have to be to stop play, watch each and every one of those, and make that individual decision against Booker each and every time?
If you’re a referee, you have watched thousands and thousands of minutes of people playing basketball. Suddenly you have someone playing basketball with his head four feet in front of his feet, and this is normal for you?
Lol I remember I was going to respond to this by saying DeMarcus Cousins just played in the game right before theirs.

30 sec is maybe a little aggressive but 2 min is stretching things. On the other hand, just to keep things in sync, what about once the huddle at tv is formed, they get one shot clock. Natural drama!
