Anyone biting on Minnesota +7 at home?
They’re something like 6-1 ATS this season but maaaaan that’s a tasty number for Michigan State.
I think betting against Wisconsin in B1G play could be profitable
I jinxed the cover
Get on the Purdue line before it goes up.
Someone talk me out of Rutgers +12.5 and Iowa -5
I want to like Rutgers +12.5 but I just think they will get overwhelmed by Purdue’s size. I don’t think they can match up with Purdue’s size across the board.
I have a hard time trusting Iowa but going on the road to Hilton, I can’t see giving any points. Hard pass there.
They both feel like stay-aways to me. Rutgers has been horrible but is at home. Iowa has been really good in the rivalry but its best win is against a team that just lost to James Madison.
I can’t do that
Rutgers has played 9 top 20 teams at home in Ron Harper Jr.’s career. They have never lost by more than 12.5
How many times in Ron Harper Jr’s career have they lost to the KP 296 team at home?
I just don’t understand why Rutgers is so bad this year. It’s mostly the same team besides Young and Johnson. Added Hyatt and Jaden Jones. Seems like the dropoff shouldn’t have been this steep
It’s especially weird since Pikiell publicly stated that this would be his best team at Rutgers. He doesn’t usually make comments like that.
I am equally perplexed. I do think there were some smoke and mirrors last year when Harper got insanely hot from three that showed it wasn’t sustainable. I also think Young was good for a couple of games where he was lights out and won it for them. No one has EVER said that Rutgers was particularly good at basketball even when they were winning - they would just scrap hard on defense to keep the game close.
Maybe a team that is easier to coach isn’t always a better team.
Arizona +2200 to win the whole thing?
I hope you took Rutgers tonight!
