I actually have him with 265 threes over his redshirt freshman season and 29 threes during his five game redshirt sophomore season before āleaving the team for personal reasons.ā He made 113 threes during those two seasons for 38.4% overall. During that very shortened (five games) redshirt sophomore season he made 14 of 29 three pointers for 48.3%. During his redshirt freshman season during which he averaged 31 minutes per game and started all 34 games he made 99 of 265 three pointers for 37.6%. He was obviously a good shooter from distance for Davidson. Donāt know if that would transfer to the high DI level. Also donāt know if he can guard SGs in the B1G.
One note: I almost always use KenPom stats which exclude games against non-Division I teams. Frampton went 4-of-14 from three against Central PA as a frosh which explains the discrepancy.
Really tough to evaluate the situation without knowing why he left the team but a guy who is that one-dimensional in the A10 probably has a limited ceiling at the Big Ten level.

I presume UMD will be after him. Baltimore native and their roster is a disaster, although heās not a true big which is what they need desperately

Big Ten is probably a stretch but heās a grad transfer (sit zero, play two) who is more of a playmaker than most guys on the roster.

Similar, but the big difference was that Brown entered the transfer portal before Manning was officially fired. I do think thereās a general sense that if you approve Sarrās waiver, you probably have to approve Brownās.
