2020 recruiting

Really fun player. Does look like Beilein would love this guy.

New name on the radar, Dayten Holman from Oklahoma

#64

#65

I hate it when we start digging deep like this. Re Holman.

#66

I almost feel exactly the opposite.

First, JB’s track record of finding under the radar talent is almost unparalleled.

Second, I’d rather be competing with the schools on that list versus the ones who are also after our top targets.

If we end up being interested enough to offer, that says something. If not, there’s certainly nothing wrong about developing some Plan B targets.

#67

“They just want to see me play defense well, get better with my shot and rebound the ball.”
This is a quote from Holman about Michigan, from a player who already has high major offers. It’s hard for me to see anything to be upset about.

#68

It’s a little early to say that.

#69

Adam Miller, a 2020 G from Chicago

#70

Kid can flat out stroke it. Hit 9 threes in a win earlier this year. Going to be a future star, another example of Luke Yaklich opening some doors in Illinois/Chicago.

#71

So is he class of 2019 or 2020?

#72

He is a 2020 kid.

#73

I’m loving Isaiah Jackson. Would love to land watts even more if it would help with Jackson ( he’s a take all day to me anyways)

#74

Watts is not coming to Michigan. Quit doing this to yourself.

#75

Huh? I’ve seen no indication from any of the reputable insiders saying Watts is an unrealistic target. In fact, I’ve seen pretty much the opposite. Almost everyone says nobody knows where he’s going. Hell, his crystal ball consists of only two people, an MSU insider with 80% accuracy saying Michigan and a Michigan insider with 57% accuracy saying “cloudy.” He’s certainly nowhere close to the “Michigan probably leads” level of Carton and Wilson, but saying he’s 100% not coming seems very extreme given the info we have.

#76

I’m not in love with watts anyways. I do like him but he’s further down my target list now. Carton and Wilson are my main realistic favorites. You As Wolverheel said though why so pessimistic on him? I’m all for watts though especially if it helps with Jackson.

Carton , Wilson , watts would be a great group

#77

I see Carton and Watts as an either or and I would rather do Carton at this point. Isaiah Jackson is someone I hope JB prioritizes. He could be another DJ Wilson or better at the 4.

Highlights from this weekend of 2020 6’3 PG Zeb Jackson. Jackson plays for C2K Elite 16u on the UAA circuit. He recently got an offer from Ohio State on May 12th, and has reportedly been getting serious interest from the Michigan staff for months as well.

C2K Elite and owned and operated by Quincy Simpson, Zavier Simpson’s Dad. I watched him in person in April. He’s the real deal.

#79

Thanks! He looks like a great prospect and on the taller side for someone with that handle. Ball park, how tall is he?
