Mods at reddit college basketball have uploaded current rosters to NCAA 2K8 and are going to run a full tournament on youtube next week.
It’s not much, but I’ll take it. I wonder if virtual Zavier can hit a free throw.

Fact is that’s just not something that could happen. You couldn’t just expect every conference to run their tourneys at one specified time in the summer. Also you’d have lots of players who already graduated/getting ready for the NBA anyways. The window for a delayed tournament window in college is probably 3-4 weeks at most and the virus is still going to be going strong by then.
Why do you think this would hurt basketball in the future? If anything hype is going to be at all time high going into next year.
I had the only nationally televised sporting event in the country on Friday night. Showtime Boxing from Minnesota. I got to the site on Tuesday completely believing the Big 10 tournament and every other scheduled event in the country would go on as planned. By Thursday morning we were living in a completely different world. We had early morning discussions on what to do with the event and I got in my hotel room and watched Michigan/Rutgers get pulled in real time. The entire experience was surreal. We decided to move forward with the event with no audience in the arena.
Does anyone know if they decided to still release a bracket today or not? I know there was some talk about possible doing that.
Someone might have posted this already but I would love to see recaps and clips (if possible) from Juwan Howard’s playing career.
Selection Sunday… We’d be gearing up to watch Michigan play MSU right now.
Here’s some stuff I found.
Juwan was so dominant in the 94 regional.
This was a fun watch. Juwan only had 13, but all of the freshmen (and Rob Pelinka!) had a hand in the outcome. Breslin was rocking too. (Side note: Chris Webber, man)
I’m a little surprised by this. Especially with a lot of coaches having a bonus on the line.
If I was PSU or Rutgers or some other program that doesn’t not get to the tourney often but was considered safely in, I’d still be claiming a spot and put it on my NCAA appearances banner.
Maybe that’s why. Extra revenue goes along with those bonuses.
Watching the 2013 Kansas game. Steve Kerr on the call and Perry Ellis playing his freshman season!
Early in the 1H Kansas is killing us inside and Beilein goes with JMo at the 4
Interesting, because McGary had a good game lost in the excitement over Trey.
FYI, CBS is televising the 2018 B1G title game right now.
Watching the 2018 BTT game on CBS and remembered that this was all a week before selection sunday. Maybe they should’ve kept that format
Thanks for these!
Very amusing.
I like the NBC sports simulation better, where Michigan went to the Final Four.
So I have been watching /r/collegebasketball’s simulated tournament and it’s surprisingly filling the void of having zero sports. Been a couple of crazy “games” already. Anyway, they start today at 3:00 if you want to check it out while we are all bored out of our mind’s at home.
Michigan plays (of course) Florida on Saturday at 1:00 in the 7/10 game.

The Texas Tech radio announcer even dubbed over the top of their win yesterday over NC State in the first four.
Here is Vermont taking down Louisville in round 1.
Anyway, might not be your jam, but hopefully a few of you give it a shot.
