Can we please stop posting tweets that most likely have absolutely nothing to do with what school a recruit ends up at?
Yeah I feel like that could mean literally anything, and 95-99% of what it could mean has nothing to do with the decision
Yeah, please no posting fake screenshots of peopleās twitter accounts.
Thanks. I was breaking my brain racking it.
Wait so should I NOT post a photo of my fortune cookie fortune and explain how it pertains to Todd?
Some background on Isaiah and his momā¦
95-99% of everything written and tweeted about recruitsā intentions is vague and nearly meaningless. Why are you being so picky now? Sheās posting explicitly as āIsaiah Toddās Momā, not even her own name, so forgive me for thinking it might have a teensy sliver of relevance two days before his commitment announcement.
Iām glad you posted the tweet for sure, but what I was saying goes more for anyone trying to take her tweet and assume the worst from it. Someone had posted ādislikeā so I was referring more to that. If anyone sees that tweet and assumes itās anti-Michigan, I just think thatās an overreaction.
For what itās worth, I sent that tweet to my buddies and as a joke said āyou guys think this means they took the Kansas money??ā And both of them said yes in a non-joking way
Evan Daniels just put it in his crystal ball for Todd to Michigan. Means that all the top of the top hoops recruiting guys have Michigan as their pick. Meyer, Evans and Daniels.
I was reading the first line of your post and got nervous. Thatās definitely a really good sign (especially with the Kansas in-home today)
Daniels is the best in the business, gameover officially.
Just to put numbers to that:
Heās 43/43 this year and 223/236 all-time.
Not badā¦
Jeez, thatās even better than I thought.
Also, I just realized Kansas doesnāt have a single commit yet for 2020ā¦ wow
They have a juco commit
I like mom.
So if (when) Isaiah Todd commits on Thursday will this begin a domino effect that Coach Howard is hoping for? Could this also sway Nimari Burnett or maybe even Josh Christopher more so toward Michigan?
i donāt believe it will be a domino, per se, but i think it will help to answer one question other big recruits might have in terms of good talent surrounding them. Also, maybe even more so it would be the first tangible piece of evidence to us that Juwanās pitch is playing well to these top end kids.
Interesting that Howardās first commit could be a kid who doesnāt even end up playing at Michigan. Iām praying he suits up for us, but this is college hoops in 2020 I guess.
Letās not forget Franz. He could have a big impact on the court, which will impact recruiting. A recruiting win over a pro team is looking more relevant now.
Franz is a great addition to the program but was a pretty unique circumstance. Obviously Juwan helped bring that one home, but he has said publicly that heās looking for his āfirst commitā so he clearly thinks thereās a difference between Franz and building his first 2020 class.
