Yea, even Cumberland looks unlikely now, unless they somehow gave the job to Saddi. Even Wilson might not be a certainty at this point. Who knows if he will seek a waiver from the LOI. Bajema seems pretty likely to stick at least. Barring some massive improvement from Brooks, DDJ and/or Nunez this team will really struggle to score.

That’s rather interesting… They return every rotation player unless I missed a transfer. Two guys who play the 2/3 (Jones and Joe) were solidly more efficient. Doesn’t really fit the “wants to be ‘the guy’” thing that people were saying.

is yak and saddi still in contact and recruiting transfers or is everything on hold until the hire of a new coach in late June early July?
I hope they are, and I hope, no matter who is our next coach. that those two are still on the staff!

Believe that Jarron Cumberland is also testing the NBA waters so could also be waiting to see what he does. If Jarron goes back to UC, could be incentive to join him.

Yes, that’s what I meant. Sorry if sentence was a bit unclear. If Jarron stays in the draft, Jaevin is unlikely to to go UC. If Jarron goes back to school, Jaevin would be more likely to team up with his cousin.

Uh we need shooters. Looking at the roster currently it’s worse than last year shooting, and last year was bad compared to every other year basically under Beilein.

Yup. Wilson, Wagner and Cumberland loom large. There aren’t many options to fill out next year’s roster at this point and all 3 are shooters.

Ideally the shooters can be plugged in at the 2-4 spots because Simpson and Teske will dominate the minutes at the 1 & 5, so adding a shooter at those positions won’t help because they won’t be on the floor with those 2. Need guys to space the floor for Zavier to drive and finish or kick.
