Based purely off stats and team/conference caliber Justice seems like the better player of the 2 new options.
If we took 2 grad transfers, we’d have a ton of scholarships for next year.

We recruited him right? I might be confusing him with dozier.
So with Proctor heading to Purdue, the official list of grad transfers with Michigan interest is down to three, correct?
Justin Pierce: Final Three of Michigan, UNC, and Notre Dame
Camron Justice: Visits with Western Kentucky and Cincinnati
Kareem South: Expanded considerations unknown
Anyone else?
Rayjon Tucker is also visiting Memphis. If they fill out their roster with three of Tucker, Watford, Quinones, and Achiuwa? That’s gotta be AAC front-runner, no?
I hope the lack of other grad names being floated around means high confidence in Pierce.
This spring is either shaping up to be ok or a utter disaster if we don’t fill these spots.
I think ok is an understatement. If we land Franz and Hyland as an example…I would say that we had an even better recruiting class than last year and was a great pull for this program
Never felt like Michigan was ever a serious contender for Justice’s services so I don’t get the sudden consternation.
1 ship available for UNC. Gotta think they aren’t willing to give a spot to Pierce right now even if he wanted to commit.
Interesting timing. Who are they after that you don’t think he would have a ship?
Just saying the options are getting extremely slim. It’s basically at the point where if we don’t land Pierce, Hyland or Wagner, we bite the bullet and come into next season weak but hopefully the 2020 class is a bounce back. The fallback options after them 3 is basically not there anymore was my point.
We aren’t coming up empty. I am wondering which 2 will we get. Franz and…?
I believe they are after various 2019 blue chips still, including Precious Achiuwa
That’s a guy, especially, with a world of talent who developed no skills. Obviously it could be for a variety of reasons. But I can’t help thinking if he had come to Michigan, he’d be an NBA prospect by now.
I know Michigan never reached out to him after he announced the transfer, but his name was brought up on here due to Michigan’s HS recruiting interest so figured I’d post this
Cumberland is a name that I’d take another look at coming up if Pierce ends up at UNC. He already took an official visit to Oregon and Purdue, but I believe Purdue took Proctor instead. Cumberland could definitely supply some shooting at the 2-guard spot.
Have you seen the kid play at all? Sounds like a good shooter but not sure what else he brings. Sounds like Saddi recruited him to Oakland so we probably have a strong “in”.
That’s … an interesting landing spot. Ryan went from the ACC (ND) to the SEC (Vandy) to … a 12-20 team from the SoCon.
