Can we please change the out of bounds rule. PLEASE. It’s absolutely garbage. It is not in the spirit of basketball. The first 38 minutes of every single game and that ball goes to Texas Tech literally 100% of the time and not a single person would complain about that.
Yet in overtime of a national championship game we’re analyzing a pinky frame by frame while ignoring an obvious foul 0.5 seconds before that to create a massive swing in the game. Infuriating.

Culver made some big plays but his decision making a large portion of the game was the X factor.
And I obviously mean he made some atrocious choices. Anyone else notice he had that dish on the drive to the big all day and he only chose to use it once and instead for most the game he forced up bad looks at the rim?
Keeps the Kenpom streak alive of the champion top 20 in adjO and adjD. Tech was going to be an outlier.

This was one of those all time great games where you didn’t want it to end because it meant one team had to lose. Truly feel badly for the Texas Tech players, they played their asses off and on any other night, it would’ve been enough to win the game. But hats off to Virginia on a hard earned victory. Their players were clutch at the end of the game — Hunter’s 3s were huge!!

should change the rules so that if someone has control of the ball and the other player swipe the ball out of the bound, as long as the ball does not dramatically change direction, the ball belongs to the team who had the control. Basketball was always played like this until the stupid replays.

You know I have a good friend who likes to gamble as i do and he claimed Virginia was getting robbed near the end. Is it just me or is he delusional? Seemed like most fifty fifty calls were going Virginia’s way. Also holy hand check for ty Jerome.
The key there was all of Culver’s threes were bad looks and poor decisions and hunters were squared up great looks imo.
I thought that was an unbelievably beautiful game. Just terrific.
Took a helluva team to beat Texas Tech. Tech was champion worthy.
Too bad Owens wasn’t healthy and fouled out. The dagger 3 from Hunter in OT might have gone in a different direction had Owens been healthy. Shot reminded me of the one he blocked spectacularly against Gonzaga.
