2019 NCAA Tournament Games Open Thread

This would be the biggest comeback ever in the NCAA Tournament, based on what I read on Twitter.

Rick Barnes is a terrible coach

Yeah, they said on the broadcast that it would tie BYU’s comeback vs Iona in the First Four back in 2012 (might have misremembered the year)

Good looking shot by Bone. He just missed it

Not having Schofield on the floor for the last shot was…an odd choice.

Missed hearing that, thanks. This is nuts.

Refs miss a blatant travel there. oof

Moss is playing Iowa right out of the game, too bad.

Turned it on with 17 mins left and became a huge Iowa fan. Hate they are blowing OT. They got cheated by refs not getting the last TO in regulation.

Iowa’s tied this game a couple times but Tennessee has managed to avoid falling behind. I think that psychologically is a big thing in a game like this.

Incredible strip by Williams

TN D’ing up pretty darn well trip after trip, have to say.

Kudos to Iowa for a valiant effort.

That Nissan commercial has some serious bass. My subwoofers were crushing the room.

Scofield and Williams didn’t give Iowa one ounce of cred for coming back in the second half. Well. . . .I give Iowa cred for coming back when they could have packed it up in the first half. If one more shot could have Iowa’s way, Scofield and Williams would be fielding questions like: how’s it feel to give up the biggest lead in NCAA playoff history?
End of rant.

Announcers 100% ignore that Fall was fouled going up. When they’re working their little narratives, it is quite remarkable how they can ignore the evidence in front of them.

Fall has committed 2, how do I say it, ill advised reaching fouls. If he keeps that up he will only play 15 minutes of the game.

Personally, I don’t ever call players or their actions stupid, but that’s just me. The second was indeed a bad foul, but considering he had been fouled seconds before. . .
