UM did show prelim interest, but nothing recently. Appears to really like Illinois
I kind of agree, just seems to jump and not go anywhere. Whoever says he is a good athlete must be referring to his use of his strength and explosion. He jumps quick but not a good leaper. Love his shot though. Now mr. Cain has some bounce that this team will definitely need in 2 years.
Living in Illinois, champaign actually, Iāve been told he has a very little chance of landing here due to this team having a lot of wing players. None that are really good besides hill, but the are very high on Williams, Jordan and Nichols around here. Again, not sure why they are so high on them but thereās tons of talk of these guys.
When you bring your parents on an all day visit, the interest is serious.
There is Interest. Thatās only because Tejon Lucas is coming here.
Hands down, Cain is better vertically. Also the thing that makes Lewis look lower is that a good portion of his dunks are off 1 leg where he drifts from left to right, rather than going straight up. The result is a ābroad jumpā rather than pure verticality.
Thatās true, maybe it had to do with those all occurring in that one video. Getting Both would be pretty amazing but I personally prefer Lewis due to how strong he is already with a great looking shot.
Lewis has higher floor as of right now, Cain certainly has the higher ceiling. Also depends on position, Cain no doubt a better 3 with more ballhandling, whereas Lewis would be a better 4 initially because of better strength and he is already accustomed to banging down low on the glass.
Not sure who weāre talking about now or where theyāre visiting.
I would describe Lewis as a solid athlete. His game though seemed like he is a pf in a sf body. All down low or dunks. Didnt see any jumpers/ handle in that video.
Lewis was in champaign with his family visiting. I live in champaign and itās not likely here comes here. I believe if Michigan really wants him they can get him. He came here(champaign) because Tejon is his friend. I canāt see him committing to illinois.
Can we try to keep this thread on topic to guys that Michigan is actively recruiting? Will be easier for everyone to follow. Afaik thereās not active interest in Lewis as things stand now.
JB in Indy today to watch 5-star Kris WIlkes
Man I just donāt get what heās waiting on all these scholarship offers. Really putting us behind the 8 ball. I assume itās something to do with positional issues.
Is the list on your recruiting site up to date for 2016, 2017 and 2018?
Jermaine Jackson Jr. playing with The Family. Had a really nice game vs GR Storm
Question for everyone. Did we choose Watson over towns? Or did towns makes us wait to long or did we think we had better options with battle and Langford? Also if thatās the case do you guys wish we had waited on/ taken towns? I really donāt believe he chose Hartford over us, also I believe you guys said we pulled his offer. Any clarification from anybody/ how do u guys think they compare?
Donāt know how to embed a Twitter link so will just say JB visited Parker Stewart this morning.
Bacari was just out to see him a couple weeks ago as well. Interest seems pretty serious. But I will admit I donāt follow recruiting closely enough to know if this is just a norm.
