FWIW… First big weekends of AAU for the 2017 kids will be 4/15-4/17 and 4/22-4/24
Both are live evaluation weekends and Nike EYBL, Adidas, Under Armour circuits all start up.

I think they will be comparable defensively. Stu wasn’t a bad defender.
Offensively Stu sucked and Poole should be very good offensively.
On Cain? I’m with you on that one. Assuming his academics are in order, I really hope we offer and he takes it. Seems like he is a nice talent and also a nice fit with what we do.

First, I’d like to thank Dylan for allowing me/Guestavo to link to our site. Dylan runs a first class operation here at UMHoops, and his information and analysis on UM is second to none IMO. This is, and always will be, the premier destination for UM basketball.
Second, Guestavo was truly instrumental in the formation of Endless Motor Sports, the guy is just a wealth of information in all facets of basketball, and this could not have been done without his assistance. I’d like to personally thank him for everything he’s done in conjunction with the site.
That being said, this is just a ‘soft opening’ for the site, we still have work to do in terms of design/layout/forum functions, etc. Its a LOT of work, have the ultimate respect for Dylan…can’t image how many sleepless nights the guy has experienced after a 9pm game lol.
Our site is primarily dedicated to recruiting, and we hope to bring you the latest and greatest in the world of recruiting in terms of interviews, information, highlights, etc. The best thing about the site - ITS FREE. We’re just a couple of guys that love basketball. Although the site is not technically dedicated to Michigan basketball, it will inherently be so for the most part.
Feel free to shoot me any questions, concerns, comments, etc. Always looking for ways to improve. I’d also like to say that I’m going to have to be a bit more reserved in my opinions on the Endless Motor site for obvious reasons - I’m working with the kids and parents, and have to be more discrete and sensitive. I’ll try to be a bit more forthcoming here and will provide some insight here as well. I hope you guys enjoy the site.
Our first piece of work is on 17 combo guard Davion Bradford (cousin of Jamal Cain). The kid is really slept on, and hasn’t received and lot of attention yet. His game reminds me a bit of Steve Francis.

Of course, I mean, I can’t be blunt on my site for obvious reasons…where else can I vent lol. Will you dabble in football as well? As much as I love UM basketball, my passion for UM football is probably just as great.

I love his offensive game.
How is his on the ball defense?
Leaves a bit to be desired IMO
Is it attitude or does he lack the athleticism to really dig in?
I don’t want to say attitude in a personal disposition sense, so I’ll say that he may lack a bit of desire to really dig in on that end, lack of lateral agility plays a part as well based on the full games I’ve seen.
Lack of a desire is what I meant. You’re learning fast how to be PC haha.

Good stuff. By my comment, I meant that even if Young committed tomorrow I would want Cain as a priority. Looks to have a really high ceiling. If it were an either/or situation, I would hold off on Young and put a full-court press on Cain.

Absolutely, I think the biggest needs at this point are clearly a 4 with an inside presence on both ends, and a wing that has some creating ability and can play solid perimeter defense. We already have a PG (and Poole in 17), along with Poole at the 2, and a plethora of bigs.
Matt, it seems like you’re fairly “in the know” on Cain’s recruitment. What kind of priority are we giving to him? Would you say he’s a top target for the coaching staff right now?
