2017 Recruiting Notes

Just realized, that this chart has a mistake on it. Donnal should be listed on the roster under 2017-18

As of right now, he is not being granted his 5th year. Thatā€™ll depend on how he performs next season.

I guess thatā€™s true. If Doyle leaves this year and Donnal doesnā€™t get his 5th year renewed, that leaves some interesting recruiting situations for 2017 with three scholarships. Although, we donā€™t appear to be even close to getting anyone to commit.

Got one scholly to give in 17. Need a stud wing. I think thatā€™s an attractive slot for a big time player. Not a ton of talent ahead of him, should get some early PT and then a clear path in 18.

JB watching Jermaine Jackson Jr and Thomas Kithier right now

I hear Callihan is pretty packed.

Calihan is North Farmington v Stevenson. JB is watching Dakota

It was more of a general statement. Where is Dakota at?

Grand Blanc

Are these players worth recruiting?

Kither is worth keeping an eye on. Had 17 at half. As stated on here before Jackson is just small

Theyā€™re ranked incredibly low.

Kither is probably a mid major right now.

I hope jb isnā€™t wasting too much time.

Iā€™m a huge fan of Jermaine Jackson Jr, unfortunately heā€™s a bit limited due to size. More importantly than that, we just cannot afford to expend a scholarship on a backup PG that will play 5-8 minutes a night. We need difference makers, and we need it now.

Have to agree with Pratt (who is very good in terms of talent assessment IMO), think Kithier is more of a mid major prospect at this point. I might say mid-major plus depending on how he develops, as its still very early for him. Heā€™s definitely one to keep an eye on, but think there are other targets that Iā€™d rather have.

These kind of kids are in JBā€™s wheel house. We wouldnā€™t want him to stray too far outside his comfort zone.

All joking aside, Iā€™m glad heā€™s there. He needs to be seen in Detroit.

He isnā€™t in Detroit he is Grand Blanc.

Oops. Read that wrong

Watch the tournament much? Talented kids all over the place to be a slave to a rankings list.

Itā€™s rather rare a two star becomes a good player in college. Canā€™t deny that
