Does Cumberland remind anyone else of Rayvonte Rice?
I was thinking true on bluiett …not very explosive or overly athletic but just finds ways to get buckets

Bluiett had a much more diverse game, he could just score from so many different spots on the floor. Had excellent footwork for a non-athlete. Cumberland is more of a bully that can shoot.
Really hoping UM gives him a look. Most underrated kid in the country.
6-5 G Devon Daniels @doubleD_2106 of Kalamazoo Central/1Nation 17-U has been offered by Minnesota tonight. Big time summer already for him.

Cumberland reminds me of a better looking Denzel Valentine. Might not be able to take too many defenders off the dribble at the B1G level but will be dangerous in a high ball screen offense. Has a good looking shot.

Think you are selling Denzel short…has the ability to create shots for others. Great court vision, but he gambles a bit too much.
How did I sell him short? DV is not known for taking defenders off of the dribble…
No kidding, you’ve only mentioned it about 1000 times. Ha ha…

Webb - just for you. UM showing interest in Daniels!
Amidst all the Brown hoopla, I’ve noticed that things have gotten a bit quiet around here re: Langford. Is he drifting off the map like Thornton, Booker, and Brunson before him? Or are we still in the hunt? Also, how credible is MSU in his recruitment?
Recent updates have suggested UM isn’t among the schools going after him the hardest, whereas MSU is along with Florida. MSU is a huge threat because Donovan is most likely leaving UF for OKC, meaning Langford will then have to develop relationships with a new staff. Not much in the way of updates since last week because Langford decided not to play on the AAU circuit this past weekend.
Haven’t seen anything that UM isn’t one of the ones pursuing him the hardest. He added some new offers (UK, Arizona) recently and as @MattD says he didn’t play AAU over the weekend (2nd year in a row he skipped Indy).
Key date for 2016 wing recruiting is Tyus Battle’s official on May 8th.
I shudder to think about MSU with Langford and returning Swanigan/Davis, plus their new husky PF, and possibly Winston.
It would be a small consolation if McQuaid ended up a brick shooter.
Anyone think landing Brown would have a significant positive effect on the Langford front? (Just so I can have one more reason to be nervous about Brown.)

He recently gave a list of schools that were recruiting him the hardest…UM was notably omitted, whereas they were previously included. Additionally, a lot of schools had home visits with Langford last week…again, no UM. I think we can see the trajectory here.
You mean May 8, Dylan. May 18 is Williams.
Implications on Langford, Goodin, Williams recruitments.
Oklahoma City has hired Billy Donovan as coach, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.
