Simpson committed on Sunday but want to stay with his Tuesday announcement? does not make sense if he does not include us in his final 4 on Monday.
I am excited about Simpson and Lucas at the PG. I think they are no worse than Winston and actually think they both bring a little more edge and athleticism. The biggest loss with Winston is the package deal with Bridges. He is the real prize of the deal that cant be replaced. Unfortunately our slim chance with him just disappeared IMO.

I agree with the Bridges comment. Unless somehow Beilien somehow pulls a Tyus Battle and makes him fall in love, IF he even visits.

#Illinois was in to see 2016 PG Te’Jon Lucas of Mil Washington (WI) this morning - he is scheduled to visit Illinois the wknd of Sept 17th
I thought Winston’s tweet saying UM is no longer an option, sounded more like they told him he couldn’t commit anymore as opposed to him dropping UM, and if Simpson does come that would make sense
