It’s a clinic by UConn on how to handle South Carolina’s imposing size. They blew them out earlier this season and they’re doing the same thing today. UConn was underseeded because advanced metrics has them as the 2nd best team in the country.

UConn was bereft with injuries last year and had to play 6 deep last season which is why it’s considered to be one of Geno’s best coaching job in his career. UConn added Strong in HS recruiting and Chen in the portal plus with players getting healthier, UConn all of the sudden is talented and deep.

Her finalists are UConn, UNC and Duke. Not sure if Michigan was ever a factor in her recruitment FWIW.
Maybe it was just wishful thinking on my part last year? My memory is a little fuzzy but I thought there was some connection.

The rumor was Miles got $1 mil in NIL. That money was supposed to be for Chavez before she committed to OU.

She is talented and a dynamite with the ball in her hand, but her effort level and defense leave a lot to be desired (part of the reason why she drove Dawn crazy).
