I was surprised to hear Kruger describe U-M as a well oiled machine. Granted, we were more in synch in this game than during stretches against SHU, but we are far short of “well oiled”.

Kruger also described U-M as a great defensive team. We were pretty good throughout the game (especially rim protection with Moussa, Hunter and Brandon). Several of UNLV’s makes were very difficult shots. Our defensive ceiling is higher than what I’d originally thought.
