From everything I hear, in addition to being an extremely talented kid, he’s a GREAT kid as well! To be honest, I like that combination a lot! Those are the kids who are so fun to coach, and I’m sure Tyus will be for Coach B and staff!
Seems like people are most excited about somehow proving MattD "wrong." Battle is a terrific and somewhat unexpected pickup and I expect Matt would agree. But he is right to hold the program to a high standard. Hopefully this will be the magnet to bring Goodin and then we will officially be "loaded".

Oh, and just to pile on MattD, Chris Balas (the guy he swears has no credibility) has been saying this is a Duke-Michigan battle for a good 7-8 months, and all along has said Battle is the rare “recruitable” five star player.

I can’t say I’m a huge fan of piling on any one or more particular posters, although I know much of it is in good fun. I just want to celebrate and read all of the committment breakdowns this afternoon/evening.

Scholarships are currently full, but I personally expect at least one spot to open up for the 2016 class one way or another. I have a hard time seeing them not take a PG. Bridges seems a likely UK lean.

If the Davis reclassifying to 17’ rumors become truth we would have one more scholarship available. Barring any attrition from Underclassman that would be our only room to add to the class.

I, honest to goodness, only see good-natured ribbing in this thread other than the puppet comments, which are not directed at MattD.
That said, people that are vocal, critical of others’ point of view, and steadfast in their own opinions do open themselves up to this type of “feedback” and that’s why it’s showing up. I agree wholeheartedly that we should “just focus on the great work the staff (and current players) did and be happy” but that’s the opposite of what some in here (not singling anyone out) do on a regular basis.
Anyway, back to celebrating. These are the good times.
