Again, not factual, but I think overall Michigan had a bit more talent than UL, just not enough heart.

Perhaps you could make a debate about Dieng/McGary, but quite frankly at the time of the tourney, McGary was a much better player. Blackshear was nowhere near the player THJ was last year, that is a complete joke. How was Harrell a non-factor last year? UL arguably won the Big East tournament because of him. Foolish statement.
McGary played marginally better than Dieng in the tournament and certainly not as good in the game that mattered the most.
TJHR has better stats but Blackshear is a burger boy so he isn’t some scrub and could very well be playing in the pros one day.
They had significantly more depth. UM might be slightly more top heavy with talent but UL is no slouch in the NBA talent department. I’d go with UL without blinking an eye.
