I like the potential of Doyle at the 5, although I think the comparisons to McHale are a bit extreme, as he doesn’t have the footwork/ballfakes that McHale was famous for. Doyle is more in the mold of an Austin Croshere in my opinion.
This kid has great touch, seals off defenders well, finishes with both hands and knows where to position himself in the paint. Average athlete, won’t block/alter shots on defense, and may need to improve rebounding a bit, but he shows a willingness to be physical, at least on the offensive end.
