Doug Christie’s son was a freshman at Rutgers this season. He looked like a good player, a little on the chunky side.

Nice piece by Shawn Windsor about how Juwan’s recruiting is likely to differ from John’s. Beilein, notably, sought kids from two-parent homes, and didn’t try to serve as a father-figure to his kids. There is likely to be a warmer family feel to Juwan’s recruiting and relationships.
Yep, Dylan has talked a decent amount about this. JB’s players absolutely respected him and many loved him, but he definitely didn’t seek out to be a father figure. And the culture was often tight-knit, but not one of a family. Pros and Cons to both methods.
