Northwestern’s recruiting looks pretty good these days, certainly on a level they’ve never achieved before. Their '15 and '16 guys seem to all be low 4 stars or high 3 stars and they all have at least a couple of other pretty good offers like Iowa, Xavier, some from Purdue or Illinois or Iowa. Collins is going to get the time to get some guys in for a few years. They’re building new athletic facilities that’ll include some basketball courts, I believe, and of course are a great school right outside Chicago with tons of alumni connections. Collins has the cred, and if he can get them in the tourney and they can start having a bit of a home court advantage, they could become a solid program pretty quickly.
I’m just glad they don’t have that ugly ass purple paint in the 3pt. arc anymore.
