Is the shoe company pipeline from shoe-sponsored AAU team to the same shoe-sponsored college stronger, weaker, or about the same as it was 5 or 10 years ago. It seems weaker to me, but I have nothing concrete to base that take on.
Can a guy like Todd come in and make as big an impact as a one-and-done player as an on-ball wing like Christopher or Burnett can? JMO, but it seems to me a ball-dominant wing is the most plug-and-play role in the lineup, whereas a stretch 4 like Todd would be more reliant on being used right and playing with teammates who can execute the coach’s system at a B+ level or better.
