NCAA 2021: Michigan vs. LSU Open Thread

We might win tonight with a poor offensive game from Mike and Franz but we gonna need them to break their slump before the sweet 16. First and foremost take care of business in the second half and let’s win!

I said I was ok, clearly I’m ok

Wow this games at the Iowa-Oregon pace.

Feels very much like Ohio State in the first meeting. High level offense. Now gotta limit these turnovers, dominate boards and feed Hunter. Franz’ hesitancy seems to be gone at this point. He’s in it mentally now

We’ve scored 43 and Hunter has barely gotten involved. We’ll get him more involved in the 2nd

They don’t need to make adjustments they do what they do

Yeah, the interior defense was much, much better late. Michigan got back to contesting without fouling.

Partly, that’s what happens when ridiculous shots stop falling at a 99% rate.

IIRC it’s his dad who gave us some inside info on Franz’ recruitment.

Meanwhile, Thomas is the best scorer I’ve seen this year. No one is close.

Doesn’t it seem like Michigan has been struggling with FTs lately or are my expectations just too high?

7-11 today so far. At least we made all the front ends

Keep shooting Eli Brooks

Imagine they will. The paint seems pretty clogged up so far though. They’ll have to pick their spots imo

Yeah I’ve been progressively more amazed all night

Hard to turn it over when your offense doesn’t pass the ball

Take advantage of all the defensive attention on Hunter, make open shots, and win. He doesn’t have to score to be the biggest advantage in this game.

Thomas is Duane Washington Sr.

I’m a little confused as how a team with this much athleticism and length can rank that badly defensively. But then we dropped 43 without Livers…
