This does not seem like a mental toughness thing. The whole season this team has had high mental toughness. This scheme is just really really tough to break and we can’t buy a shot

They’ve made some tough shots, we’ve missed everything and turned the ball over half our possessions. It’s a miracle it’s this close, frankly.

Disagree that they’ve had mental toughness all year. The team has collapsed in almost all of the close games they’ve played. Maryland really the only exception.

7 FGs and 7 turnovers for us. That week of preparation… not so good.
I say folks are confusing bad shooting with bad offense. They are getting looks, even if it’s been tough to get them, the looks just aren’t going down. Would I like some more dunks and 3s in the second half to loosen things up? Sure. But I usually think of bad offense as an inability to get good looks, the ball sticking, too much iso play or forcing bad shots, etc.

It’s not like we are missing shots…outside of the layups we’ve had 3 good looks.
