He has hosted a slew of schools for home visits, including Kentucky, Arizona, UCLA, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Auburn, Kansas State, Missouri, N.C. State, Purdue, Cal and New Mexico.
Barnes said Swanigan has home visits coming up with Notre Dame (Sunday), Michigan (Tuesday) and Alabama (Wednesday).
As of now, Swanigan only has one official visit set.
“The only one that we know we’re to take is Chicago State,” Barnes said.
Wherever he lands, Swanigan has two goals.
“Wherever he goes, he’s going to play harder than anybody,” Barnes said. “I mean, that’s his goal, is to play harder than anybody and he’s going to lead in rebounding, and his goal is to lead the country in rebounding when he gets to college.
Dildy is the Chicago State coach:
"Dildy has a strong relationship with Swanigan’s guardian, Roosevelt Barnes, and was the first to offer Swanigan a scholarship back in middle school when he was in the 350-pound range.
Dildy’s relationship to the Swanigan family dates back to his days as associate head coach at Mississippi when he recruited Swanigan’s brother, Carl Swanigan, into the Ole Miss program."
