it really feels like we didn’t get enough franz. it mostly happening in 19-20 (no postseason) and 20-21 (no fans) means we just didn’t get enough memorable moments with him. hate what my main memory of him is and wish he’d had the opportunity to create more (though obviously it was the right time for him to go)
Moe is on a heater vs. the Celtics! 27 points, and I think he had 14 straight for the Magic, until Franz scored.
EDIT: It was 13 out of 14.
Franz had a nice stat sheet stuffing performance too. 17, 7 and 6.
The smoothing of the trend line sort of obscures how shart the drop in those data points this season, woah baby:
an unfortunately apt word to describe poole’s play this season
Freudian slip!
Another kind of slip, too!
Worth the wait
I see your amusing video and RAISE my own amusing video!

I just continue to be amazed that he and John Beilein ever looked at each other and said “hey you’re my guy”
Been a rough couple of weeks for Jordan in the NBA media. Lots of posts being pretty critical of him. Hopefully he settles in and has some good moments the rest of the year.
The 16 seconds on the shot clock is low key the funniest part here

Back to back 30 point games
Magic were 61% from the floor, 63% from 3
Wiz stink but the Magic are legitimately good
Every Michigan player with a sizable role, besides Poole, has had a solid start to the season. When it comes to Orlando, wouldn’t surprise me if ESPN or TNT change some stuff around and pop them on national television a few times
Lost in another demoralizing game for the Pistons was Isaiah Livers going 4-6 from 3.
I always marvel at how Franz can contort his body at the rim to get his shots off. It looked so weird but effective. The great thing about his scoring output is it’s always within the flow of the offense.
It’s the arms, I swear. I’ve always compared him to Inspector Gadget.
Gumby with extra long arms. The video of his 31 point night a couple of days ago shows a superb, versatile player who plays defense, too.
