Here’s a sample:
That happens to me too, as well as wondering why DJ didn’t just box out.
Seems like they must have agreed beforehand not to talk about Coach Beilein. A little slipped out anyway, in describing Walton’s command and manipulation of the offense at M.
Interesting to hear Walton resign himself to carving out a roll in NBA as 2nd or 3rd PG on a team. Talent level of NBA PG is absurd.
Like to see Dylan and Brendan get someone on their pod. Xavier Simpson would be nice.
Is the Oklahoma State game findable? They say it’s not on YouTube during the podcast.
Thanks! I was flying during this second half an had never seen it before.
So my 9-year old who is starved for sports to play and watch is watching Kevin Durant and Derrick Jones Jr. play NBA 2K on ESPN (not recommended).
ANYWAY there was a two minute feature of Duncan Robinson in his apartment showing kids “basketball drills they can do inside without getting mom mad” (two shooting drills). Also had JJJ showing…dribbling drills?
I’m not gonna lie, I’m so starved for sports that I’ve had this on in the background tonight. Highlight for me was when Kevin Durant cringing when virtual Pat Connoughton made a three and saying “cmon man he ain’t got it like that”.
Thank you!
I nice analysis of Duncan’s impact on the heat…
Bam was Juwan’s personal project last year.
Here’s an Athletic article/podcast where Duncan talks about trying to organize a boycott of the public practice at the Final Four
The podcast is very entertaining and ends with a really funny recap of the Duncan/Moe “scuffle” a couple weeks ago.
Thanks for pointing that out… good stuff. “OF COURSE it would be Moe that provoked my first technical.”
Missing out on Christopher is the first thing that really brought up the pain of Poole leaving early. Imagine the way we’d be talking about this team if we had Senior Poole Senior Brooks Senior Livers slotting in front of Wagner Johns and the freshmen. Would be an awesome team.
and imagine Duke or Kentucky if their players didn’t leave early.
They recruit knowing those guys are gone. In fact, those guys typically can’t stay even if they wanted to. Michigan kept losing guys that you would expect 3-4 years from.
not really the point though
When you win 30 games a year you’ve been in the spotlight often and your brand has more value. The kids are on the networks and ESPN so often I believe it raises their stock.
