For sure, but I don’t think you need both. In a perfect world, Duncan wouldn’t start. At least he wouldn’t for me! I think Caris being out has hurt the looks he has gotten to be fair to Duncan.

A lot of truth in what you say Mattman. What you do in the NCAA tournament outweighs what you do in your conference.
Ask any player if they would rather get to a Sweet 16 or win a conference championship, most would say sweet 16 all day. The Tournament is the prize for your hard work in the off season.

Lol Well I agree Matt. In my world I wouldn’t of gave him a scholarship but he is here.
That goes back to how critical getting in the lane is offensively. When you have a couple guys who can do that it opens everything else up. Its exactly why MAAR has been so valuable

I think you can play eight. Chatman Dawkins and wSgner off the bench. There’s no doubt in my mind this is the best rotation. Bench Duncan if he’s cold and go with Dawkins. Whoever is hot between the two. Belein has to let Wagner play through mistakes. I mean he doesn’t pull doyle after he blows three or four would be bunnies a game. Allow Wagner a chance to breathe. There’s no doubt in my mind he can give us ten solid minutes a game
As for thoughts on the game as I ranted in the live thread I feel the refs straight robbed us. I’m disgusted at how the last five minutes were called. They totally let Maryland take control.i don’t care if it sounds like sour grapes a spades a spade

Oh, I think that Robinson will earn his keep. But we’d have been a lot better with him if Caris had played this year, coming in and lighting it up, sitting when he f’d up on D.
Mattman he will earn his keep if he has guys who can penetrate around him. It’s clear he has trouble getting himself open against B1G comp
If Doyle gets off the bench the rest of the year outside of an outbreak of the Zika Virus on the team, I will lose my collective mind. Nothing to lose now not to let DJ or Mo to not work through their mistakes.

Wagner could have helped so mAny times this year and instead he’s glued to bench. I don’t get it. His moves are solid and he can finish. He should be getting eight to ten a game behind don all

I can not stand Doyle. He just kills me watching him play. I can not understand why he keeps giving Doyle minutes. If I am coaching and I see the offense works best with Donnal in at the 5, I play whoever has the most similar style to Donnal which is 100% not Doyle. Those post hooks he was attempting made me vomit.

You’re right – seems like he has the shortest leash of everyone. One bad turnover or senseless off-ball foul early in the shot clock and he gets yanked, despite his superior upside. Like Mitch before him, he needs time to figure things out and misbehave a little.
For those reasons I said before I give Moritz the minutes. He makes freshman mistakes sure but I will take that over dropped balls thrown up post hooks with no chance of going in and most certainly the best of them all his atrocious free throw shooting. I also would like to see D.J. more given his lanky body and see if he could do much as a rim protector.
No thank you on DJ but I’m a huge Wagner fan. Even the lay up he missed, his footwork was great. It was a solid move he made on a big time player. Those will start dropping if he gets more minutes.

Agreed on Wilson. I’m all for Wagner and have been from the start. I think he would be a lot farther along at this point.
