Pretty sure he was. We grew up in the same area, played against each other once, and I remember that style being his vibe. Plainfield played “Butterfly” during shoot around. I only remember that because I hated that song so much.
I hear he’s a good dude now. Opposite of what I heard from everyone who knew him, but that’s old high school garbage.

The '99 NW team really wasn’t all that bad! Just couldn’t get the win or two it needed down the stretch. What a player, though.
But yeah, I’m as convinced today as I was back then that an Indiana team with a healthy DJ White and Marco Killingsworth would have made a serious run in March!
