Is Derrick Walton at top-20 PG?

Kind of surprised not to see him on this list… Bryant McIntosh also seems like a snub.

I see a lot of names that i know and would definitely take before Walton (no disrespect to Walton) and a few that i dont know. I cant imagine he is a top 20 PG in the nation…

Seth Allen over Walton seems pretty crazy. Guess we’ll get to see that one play out though.

Just thinking exactly the same thing. Because my older daughter went to Maryland, I watched a lot of Allen while he was there. Better than Walton…not so much.

Just want to see Derek completely healthy for a full season. He’s a consummate competitor who has much more to give. Breakout time for him.

Morris and Sumner are both going to be dynamite this season. Two future pros.

What are their shooting %s behind the arc, inside the arc, assist to turnover ratio etc…??? What have their teams done as in leading their team to success?

REALLY like this… hope he has a noticeable edge to his game this year. I think the presence of X will also help bring it out in him

I will concede 2 point FG%, as we all know Walton he been absolutely awful there. But 3FG% and TOs…

PG A: 38% from three, 1.9 TO per game
PG B: 38% from three, 1.5 TO per game
PG C: 48% from three, 1.8 TO per game
PG D: 38% from three, 2.0 TO per game
PG E: 39% from three, 1.5 TO per game

Can we get eFG% and offensive rating/usage for these?

A: 49.4 eFG%, 20.3 usage rate, 18.1 PER
B: 53.0 eFG%, 19.5 usage rate, 19.3 PER
C: 57.9 eFG%, 18.6 usage rate, 18.2 PER
D: 48.0 eFG%, 20.8 usage rate, 18.2 PER
E: 50.0 eFG%, 21.1 usage rate, 13.8 PER

Who’s C? There’s a lot to like there.

A: Frank Mason
B: Joel Berry
C: London Perrantes
D: Derrick Walton
E: Bronson Koenig

I’m not even the biggest Walton fan but IMO he is not far behind all the big name veterans on the Top 20 list.

I believe Walton has the 3pt efficiency rebounding passing skills and defense to be a top 20 pg. If his 2 pt production was better he would be closer to top 10 IMO
