The thing is, it didn’t give me any better concept of the speed of the game that what I already had.
I really think the whole thing was garbage, not an experiment at all. They were just down a camera or something. Not even the most half-witted crew member would have thought trying to see the play at the rim through a bunch of floor-level players was going to make sense.
I actually thought seeing Williams curl off those screens, fade sideways, and drain a couple threes looked pretty cool from that angle. Also I think Lyle had a soft lob/dump for a jam that looked cooler from the low angle vs a high one because you could see how high their center went up to get it. But that was about it.
If anything it takes away depth perception to realize floor spacing.
I think it’s an okay angle for specific replays. But for watching an entire game - absolutely dreadful
