Certainly the offense and shooting is always interesting to discuss. Recruiting, past and present, is always an eye catcher and has certainly been a challenge for JB, especially considering what has gone on the last few years (and continues) up in the East Lansing area. I’d like to propose something quite novel it seems. What if we actually played some defense?
What a refreshing change that would be! We actually won a game against a superior B10 opponent this year doing just that - Purdue. Wisconsin has been very successful at this for a number of years.
I know that defense is not sexy. I know it is hard. I think it would be great if we actually tried it for a change. A couple of years ago JB replaced his assistant coaching staff to get a better offense. Why not consider a defensive specialist being added to the staff?
