“When he played in high school, he had some skill set, had some things with his skills that he didn’t get this show as much. So we’ll be able to open up that door for him. It was just an instant connection. He wanted to play for a team that, wanted to show his skill set a little bit more. And I think in Coach May’s system that he’ll be allowed to show his skill set. So he’s going to be amazing for our program on and off the court.”

Not sure it is even an Illinois dig. Michigan is planning to expand his role. I’m pretty curious what it looks like. Maybe USA U19s will be a first glimpse.
He left Illinois and very publicly acknowledged he didn’t wanna be developed like Kofi. I think Miskdeen repeating that a lot is just naturally a slight dig against the school he just left because they refused to play him how he wanted
