JL isn’t good but dug is really bad so I think this season is about doomed

Well done refs.

We should be banned from taking any jumper that isn’t a wide open three as long as Hunter is on the floor

Yeah that was some bs

Llewelyn pretty much kept Wheeler in check. He’s had his way with Dug. If JL is out for an extended period of time this season is toast. Dug has a long way to.

I can’t believe the B S Wheeler gets to go in or gets bailed out by the refs for. Hot garbage.

Hunter has been too sped up around the rim today. And you can’t convince me that the auto bench didn’t take Jett out of his comfort zone. Another second half where getting good shots is a total chore for Michigan.

I see good looks, they’re just missing them. It’s pretty frustrating

Oh, Hunter

Patient take dug

We always fight back. I’ll give the boys that!

Dug is killing us on defense

Free throws are haunting us even if the announcers haven’t noticed. And only one miss was by Reed.

williams has been dreadful

PLEASE grab a board

I know I’m a broken record, but Baker, Howard, Barnes, and Bufkin have 8 three point attempts combined

How are we supposed to play offense

Winning time, Hunter

So I will agree wholeheartedly that Dug has been awful and there’s not much he was gonna do to overtake JL even with JL being awful.

But I stand behind the idea that Dug being forced to be the guy has a higher ceiling. Both for this season and beyond. Being thrust into a role where you’re suddenly playing with starters instead of Jace and Reed could lead to a very different Dug. Knowing he has to play 30 minutes instead of a 4-minute stint could lead to a very different Dug.

He is capable of making good reads offensively. He is capable of being a pest defensively. This could be ok.

Michigan not going away. Jett Howard with a tough two, Kobe Bufkin draws a charge and Hunter Dickinson finishes inside.

UK leads 68-66 with 1:33 to play.
