Would it be controversial to say that Hunter’s trash talk in the first half prob kept this game closer than it would have been? I think we’d have choked them to sleep if Hunter wasn’t continually firing them up. That said…he put more energy into the game, which made it more fun to watch, and we got the dub regardless. Hunter’s a dawg.

The most fun teams under Beilein were the ones that carved up teams in offense. I didn’t expect this team with a grad transfer PG, freshman C, and collection of wings to give me that feeling. Dang that second half was fun.

So happy that Mike Smith is proving he can play at this level.

Hunter has sophistication in his post play beyond Mitch (and I loved Mitch). Mitch had great feet and touch and balance, Hunter has refined post moves that are nuts for a frosh.

He was just as talented in the post. Flip a coin on that one. Webber had great footwork and a jump hoot as well.

Mitch was incredibly skilled and had an unstoppable face up game and could even lead a fast break. They’re very different players.

Mitch was crazy nimble. I don’t know about unstoppable, but he had a really really nice face up game. Hunter’s ability to turn a man inside out is wild.
