I may be going out on a limb here, but if we play looser after the half we can close this gap quickly. I really don’t think it’s all Louisville defense. We’ve missed so good looks from mid range.
it will be interesting to see what adjustments Howard makes at halftime
20% vs 33% yikes
I’m surprised we’re not down more, honestly. If we can get anything going on the perimeter it’s doable.
Cut it down to 10 at the half! I’m cautiously optimistic that we’re going to make this a game!
Agree they are playing way too fast, just need to find a way to settle in a bit and make the easy shots. If they would have done just that this game would be tied.
And this game right here is why college basketball needs defensive 3 seconds
Lucky to go to halftime only down ten. Let’s see if our coaches can help them solve L’s D in the locker room.
Welp can’t play worse offensively. Only down 10 though, we were down 8 against Louisville in the 2017 tournament game and won that. We can bring this back but some major offensive adjustments need to be made at the half.
It’s the curse of the blue jerseys!
Damn, if they just shoot average this is a tight game…
Reminder before (or during) all of the inevitable overreactions to that half. This is Michigan’s first road game and 4th game in 6 days and it is playing against one of the best defenses in college hoops.
Especially when they get it the half court time out.
So a lot of discussion about hitting Teske in that short-roll pre-game. Really only two looks there I can think of.
Or road games?
A little surprised DDJ didn’t play more. I know he had the long settling three but he was aggressive.
They’re playing good d but it’s mostly nerves and us being flat. The whole team was just off and choppy. I saw enough of ville to know at our peak that we can beat them. Just have to hope we settle in.
Agreed, I thought he needed to get in and see if he could bring life to the offense.
The amazing thing is I think Louisville stats are worse than any team we played in Atlantis for a half. We are playing that well defensively.
