4-17 from three has got to even out
Nebraska is usually the team that gets up volume 3s but it is Michigan that has gotten all the clean perimeter looks (17 3PA out of 33 FGA) but it is just 4-of-17 from deep.
And 2-5 FTs (Livers 2-2).
Hopefully we got the rust off now and can string together a few made baskets in a row this half. Still like our chances.
And the key word there was âcleanâ like wide open. Those have got to start to fall. If we keep getting those looks and a couple fall early in the second, it could be âKatie bar the door!â
For so many years daring Michigan to beat you with the three was a foolâs errand.
Looking very rusty. The one positive is Michigan has missed 7-8 wide open threes. I donât expect Franz to start hitting them but I think Livers could and hopefully will in the second half,
Things seemed to be smoother with Brown and Eli in the backcourt.
Looks like my post was a couple seconds late. What Dylan and Silver said.
Theyâre getting great looks; a few need to fall and itâll become contagious.
Going to have to find a way to limit Teddy or this will be a nail biter.
Impressed with the Huskers ability to take away HD, he wasnât able to get much going offensively but he sure was active on the glass.
Happy with Franz being aggressive yet in control. No wonky turnovers or wild drives into no mans land.
Good half consider weâve been off so long.
Hopefully Blanton doesnât get hot too. That guy looks tough to stop when heâs going to the basket.
"Watch outâthereâs trouble coming!â King James I, who was set upon in 1437 by unhappy Scots, took refuge in a room whose door had no bar lock. One Catherine Douglas tried to keep the door closed with her arm, but the mob broke through and murdered the king. That the king might have shouted, âCatherine, bar the door,â is not too very different from the once-popular phrase. That the expression was brought to America by Anglo-Scottish settlers is equally likely, and for generations rural folk would acknowledge a difficult situation with a shake of the head and âKaty, bar the door.â
My pleasure.
Would have guessed Nebraska was shooting a better 3pt%. Like everyone else has said, we just got to make some open shots from outside. Maybe limit Mikeâs minutes a bit this half and play bigger 1-3.
That was one of the nicest Euro Steps Iâve ever seen and I donât think thatâs an exaggeration. It was perfectly timed and smooth.
My jaw hit the floor for a second. It was absolutely beautiful.
I used to live in Scotland, USA!
Greta half from Franz. Good to see him get involved as a featured player without making threes, not sure thatâs ever going to come how we hope. He can still have âbest player on the floorâ impact without it.
Zay needed to see that one go in
Loved seeing Juwan get hyped with the bench after that Zayed 3
Jace appears to be the bench mob captain this year
