Game 4: UCF at Michigan Open Thread

I think the ref anticipated the call, blew his whistle and when Smith let go of the ball he was stuck.

Also, this is the third team we have played already who just tries to take a charge every time in the paint. So frustrating to watch.

If they start hitting some of these open catch and shoot looks and keep playing this level of defense should be fine.

Michigan making a casual 80% of its 2-pointersā€¦

Also: I may be wrong, but I think weā€™re shooting 80% from 2.

he came in as a shooterā€“

Giving them the Novak treatment; he and Jmo used to draw all kinds of charges utilizing similar tactics. The way I see it is if the refs are going to give you calls, exploit exploit exploit.

So intelligent basketball is frustrating to watch? Iā€™d be more frustrated at the lack of decision making and body control by Michigan

From 1.42 PPP for UCF at the first half under 8 to 1.01 12 minutes later. Huge defensive turnaround.

Unlike Ball State though, seems like lots at the rim (still high for that obviously).

Sound the alarm. Someone doesnā€™t think Eli Brooks is the B1GPOY. Here comes the calvary.

Hunter in with the starters!

Michigan tripping over itself a bit against this UCF zone on a couple of possessions.

Heā€™sā€¦ heā€™s talking about charge calls, not Eli Brooks. Why do you hate the guy so much lol. So random and unfounded.
