More crazy stuff for BQ to write about. You can’t make this stuff up. X fouls out by showing hand strength. The refs let him miss one more FT before removing him from the game. Then Big Sleep (I got your back X) closes X and his career by missing his last regular season FT.

Maryland plays the best game I’ve seen them play all season. That seems to be the way it’s gone lately for Michigan.

Think back on what your preseason expectations were for this team. Personally, I was hoping for .500 in conference, an ncaa tournament bid and an ncaa tournament win.
Funny how expectations change along the course of a year, and I think most are disappointed with how this team has played down the stretch, but all in all this team is right at expectations and or exceeding them.
I remember listening to the November moving screen episodes and I remember for sure BQ saying he didn’t think Michigan would be a tourney team.( I’m sure he wasn’t alone.)
Moral of the story is enjoy March. Bright future for this program.

Game planning is simple against us right now - make Livers and Brooks beat you from 3. It also will result in giving up less rebounds leaving them out on the perimeter and support your pack line defense.
Edit: maybe neutral court Tourney Michigan shows up and we start hitting shots. Go Blue!

People were projecting .500 in what was suppose to be an average b1g too not an all time deep one. This team is till top 15 on kenpom, no one would have thought that had you told them the injury situation.

I’m trying to rationalize if we’re just biased by blaming our struggles on our opponents playing out of their mind, or if there’s actually validity to it. It certainly does seem like Wisconsin, OSU, and Maryland played their best basketball against us.

Yup. That’s locked in essentially.
Probably shouldn’t look too far, but there’s a good chance that the semi’s would be against the winner of Illinois vs Iowa tonight, if we make it that far.
These are all very winnable games and I think we’ll be favored in all of them. Just have to win.

Well, I like that potential second round match-up. However, going 3 for 3 against any team is tough, so I can’t really look past Rutgers.
These are really good points. But Livers just doesn’t seem right to me for about 2-3 weeks now, and if he’s not peak Livers, I think this particular team is doomed and that bums me out.

My one comment: extremely frustrating that Juwan carried over JB’s one game management flaw - taking someone out for an entire half because they have 2 fouls.

I was more frustrated by how stupid Franz’ two fouls were. Both entirely unnecessary.
Once Franz got that foul I knew the game was over.
Yup. It’s better to have a player foul out. By benching him you ensure he’ll play less minutes than if you play him till he fouls out.
