I hate ragging on kids cause they don’t show emotion. It’s just personalities. Teske is really not that demonstrative anyway.
It’s one thing to be a bad shooting team but consistently to air ball, hit the front of the rim…that’s a sign of fatigue and tired legs. Maybe it’s the culmination of playing so many mins this year but I’d like to know how hard they are being pushed in practice the whole run the stairs at the stadium if you turn the ball over in practice is great in the summer time but shouldn’t be happening in March.
Zavier Simpson scored or assisted 9 of Michigan’s 10 made field goals in the first half.
Yeah, MD generally is usually a 2nd half team. On the other hand, I have to believe Livers and/or Poole are going to hit some 3s if they get the same quality of look they got in the 1st half.
That’s not the Donnal I remember, unfortunately. He often looked pretty disaffected to me.
I do think some of Teske’s shooting struggles are today is because he hears Bruno’s footsteps… I thought he had a rushed release on at least a couple of those
Iggy-Poole-Livers combined 2-13 and were up 4. Priceless.
he had a couple breakout games. but few and far between
For that he has to get past Simpson. My $'s on Xavier.
Poole not going to hit any threes if he doesn’t shoot them. Turning into Eli Brooks out there.
You know they use sophisticated equipment to measure fatigue during practices… this isn’t Hoosiers man. they’re not running the stairs the day before the game…
Iggy gets rigged all the time on this site and he is always trying hard.
He’s joining Eli in the crisis of confidence club…
Beilein, almost every presser, talks about the need for rest, and how they take full days off from activity. There is no way that the guys who play major minutes are having heavy practices at this point in the season.
I have many worries. Jordan Poole having a lack of confidence is not among them.
Teske’s not setting it on fire either.
Don’t have to get by Simpson to hit a three. That’s what I’m expecting
Right. We don’t have a Matthews to switch onto him if he starts hitting shots today.
Beilein made an interesting comment in one presser about how such very different skills and muscles are required in playing down and hitting shots from outside.
My guess is they try to run him off a bunch of curls like they did in Ann Arbor… Z had a hard time sticking with him and we had to switch CM onto him
