Makeup call coming.

Big brain move by DDJ to go with the X dreads. Now teams will think he’s X and go under the ball screens on him

Eli has been so good, as has DDJ.

Another one I could’ve seen called.

That’s it John, shoot your way out of the slump.

Our defense is suffocating right now. Credit once again to Teske for that

Good to get to the TV timeout without a make up call. Usually the refs forget by the time the timeout is over

Isn’t that a hold on Harms?

Well, no complaints about the officiating so far (knock on wood).

If we were shooting a decent percentage from three…

Purdue is 3-of-15 on 2-pointers to open the game. Michigan’s interior defense much improved from the first meeting.

This DeJulius (w/ Livers and w/o Simpson) bench lineup has been very intriguing over the last couple of games when Livers is in the lineup.

One underrated element of DeJulius’ recent success in the ball screen game is Juwan Howard’s trust in lineups without Zavier Simpson but with Isaiah Livers. The majority of DeJulius’ ball screen assists come with Simpson on the bench, naturally, but you can see a comfort with DeJulius running that reserve unit.

Michigan can spread the floor around DeJulius with multiple catch-and-shoot and catch-and-drive threats to provide a different look, and DeJulius is far more comfortable operating as the primary handler.

Is Michigan a better offensive team with Livers on the floor?
