I know, was thinking that. Can’t blame though. Give up the two. Is what it is.

Memphis just took down #22 Houston

Franz’s best game.

Did Johns play at all in the second half? He should be getting all of the backup 3/4 minutes (assuming Livers is available to slide to the 3).

I liked seeing more frequent substitutions of Teske and Davis. Those big dudes get gassed and moving them in and out seemed to help.

With a healthy Livers all season, I think we’d be right there with Maryland in the Big Ten race and a projected top-2 seed.

Yes. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again even without him they could have been, very easily.

Only three TO’s all game. U of M has really improved on that front as the season has progressed.

Can’t stand Benetti. But maybe that is just the White Sox hater in me.

And a look made for radio.

Huge road win. Creeping up the standings and the seed lines. Love to be peaking in late February!

I’ll tell you what, he has certainly kept up the energy these last two games. He played so hard at Rutgers and again today! He really stepped up, and we needed that effort and energy with Eli injured!

Interestingly, Purdue outshot us, though our excellent perimeter defense made it difficult for them, hence they only shot 39.7% and 25%, and they outrebounded us by eight, but from late in the second half we were pretty much in control and were able to win by eight even though PU hit a few shots at the end including the one right at the buzzer, so ALMOST double digits. Other than Isaiah we didn’t shoot free throws well, either. But another gutty, gritty win, where we were just flying all over the place defensively. GREAT win for the good guys!

Benetti really does have a classic radio…face, doesn’t he!

Full disclosure, I was once told that, that I have a great radio………face!

Definitely the dreads tho

If Michigan is able to keep this rolling I really think you’ll see Franz and Juwan surge into the B1G FOY and COY conversations respectively. This will probably be Franz’s 3rd weekly freshman honor and second in a row. And Juwan is looking better as a coach with every coming week. Obviously Livers returning to the lineup has tremendously helped but both the offense and defense have really rounded into form.

I’m a little old silver haired white guy and I LOVED those dreads! At times these little old eyes struggled to see whether that was X or DDJ out there!

Seriously, I’m so impressed with DDJ and the effort he is giving us.

And X? Well, Robbie was right when Benetti pointed out the graphic that X was 0-10 but we were ahead by, like 13 or 15 points, and Robbie said, ā€œI don’t think he’s frustrated at all. All he wants to do is win!ā€ I agree. The kid is a winner. I really don’t think individual stats matter to him at all! He will sure be missed next year!

I think the trick is to make DDJ look like X! It’ll give him a lot of open threes
