Poole being a 30% 3 point shooter since B10 play resumed really changes what this team looks like on offense.

PSU is switching everything 1-through-5 which takes that away.
Oh God, now two on Charles, this is getting nightmarish
just watch him–instead of a stat that is akin to a +/-. And if Beilein thought so, Brooks time wouldn’t be decreasing. And I believe Beilein thinks he has no other choice–Brooks can at least run the offense
Probably need to give Teske some post-up looks vs guards at this point

The PG can’t shoot, so the D can sag off of him. Less room for other guys to drive. Iggy can’t pass, so he can’t punish teams for packing the paint against him. Neither Matthews nor Poole shoot well enough to punish teams for giving them space.
It’s the players. It’s who they are.

This place is just a snake pit for us. Lions looked like crap in the game I watched vs MSU. Absolutely zero offense in that effort.

Meh, like I said earlier, team just looks flat today…it’s tough to get up for every game, especially on the road when the opposing team is 110% jacked to beat you. That said, the bad, slow offensive starts are beginning to get worrisome.
We’ve gone from missing some good shots on offense to looking totally flummoxed by their D now.
I think that was a good call on Charles - he took away landing space

Guys the refs are not costing us this at all. Besides the Iggy foul there really hasn’t been anything bad against us

Teske can’t be this afraid to foul. He’s conceding ground too easily.
The offense is a mess. It’s not bad shooting that is the problem. They aren’t even getting good shots
